RIDACOM supported and took part of the 69th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at hotel Imperial in Larissa city, between the 23-rd and 25-th of November.
The conference, which was launched in 1971, today is one of the biggest scientific conferences held in Greece. The event is organized by the Greek Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (HSBMB) which is comprised of 500 members, working in Greece and beyond.
Like every year the aim of the conference was to gather greek scientific groups, working in various fields of the life science in Greece and abroad, to display works of young scientists and to place an emphasis on the latest innovations in science.
The main headings which were discussed were: Biochemistry and Molecular biology, Cellular organization and functionality, Cellular contacts and signalization, Functional genomics and proteomics, Structure and function of the macromolecules, Molecular and genetic basis of the human diseases, Development, differentiation and aging, system biology and bioinformatics, Stem cells and tissue regeneration, Epigenetics and regulation of the gene expression, RNA biology, Plant and Microorganism Biotechnology and chemical biology.
The above mentioned themes were presented by greek and foreign lectors, working in world-wide famous universities.
RIDACOM displayed some of the most modern diagnostic technologies in the Biological science and various accompanying products on a stand, which was of a great interest for all the guests.
