ENTERO-Screen is designed for rapid identification of the most frequent Enterobacteriaceae isolated from food and clinical material, particularly in urinary infections, eventually for further purposes, within 4 hours. The identification can be supplemented with the tests available in the form of detection strips MIKROLATEST®.
- A combination of 8 biochemical tests for rapid identification of the most frequent Enterobacteriaceae
- Each kit of ENTEROTEST contains 36 determinations in total.
- Results can be interpreted 4 hours after inoculation.
- Reporting can be done through an AUTOMATED SYSTEM, through specialized software or manually by Code boок
Necessary reagents and aids:
- Paraffin oil, sterilized - Strong alkaline reactions in some tests (decarboxylases, indole, urease, H2 S, etc.) may influence the reactions in next wells. This can be avoided by adding the paraffin oil.
- Reagent for ACETOIN test - for acetoin test
- Reagent for PHENYLALANINE test - for phenylalanine test
- Reagent for INDOL test - for indol test
The identification can be supplemented with the tests available in the form of detection strips MIKROLATEST®:
- OXItest - for detection of cytochromoxidase
- Reagent for OXIDASE test - for oxidase test
- COLItest - for detection of β-glucuronidase
- Reagent for INDOL test - for indol test used in COLItest
- PYRAtest - test for detection of positive reaction of pyrrolidonylarylamidase enzyme
- Reagent for PYRA test - reagent for Pyra test
MIKROLATEST® ID kits offer comfortable and reliable way to identify the most important bacteria and yeasts. Tests are placed on divided microplates. Reporting can be done through an automated system, through specialized software or manually by Code boок. For increased identification precision, additional tests in form of reagent strips and discs are also available.
Reagents, suspension media, paraffin oil and additional tests are supplied separately.
