NEISSERIA test - non-reagent kit for identification of clinically important Neisseriae

    Description:

NEISSERIAtest identification kit is designed for identification of clinically important Neisseriae, particularly, N. gonorhoeae and N. meningitidis, and Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis in 24 hours. The kit is placed in a short 8-well strip of a divided microplate. The first evaluation of results is carried out after 4 hours of incubation; the final results are read after 24 hours.

    • A combination of 8 biochemical tests identification of clinically important Neisseriae
    • Each kit of NEISSERIAtest contains 36 determinations in total
    • Results can be interpreted 4-24 hours after inoculation
    • Reporting can be done through an AUTOMATED SYSTEM, through specialized software or manually by Code boок
    • Paraffin oil, sterilized - Strong alkaline reactions in some tests (decarboxylases, indole, urease, H2 S, etc.) may influence the reactions in next wells. This can be avoided by adding the paraffin oil.
    • Suspension medium for NEISSERIA test - Suspension media are enriched media for preparation of bacterial suspension. They contribute considerably to standardization of the identification procedure ensuring osmotic stabilization, required oxido-reduction potential as well as growth promotion of bacterial strain. Sterilized media are supplied in vials, the content of one vial is used to prepare the suspension of one strain.

The identification has to be supplemented with a test in form of the detection strip and discs MIKROLATEST®:

MIKROLATEST® ID kits offer comfortable and reliable way to identify the most important bacteria and yeasts. Tests are placed on divided microplates. Reporting can be done through an automated system, through specialized software or manually by Code boок. For increased identification precision, additional tests in form of reagent strips and discs are also available.

Reagents, suspension media, paraffin oil and additional tests are supplied separately.

Kits, where reagents are not necessary, can be found for most groups of microorganisms. Non-reagent kits bring even more working comfort and save time.
