HPV (Human Papillomavirus) are double-stranded DNA viruses of the Papilomaviridae family, classified by number types according to the order of their detection. More than 100 types of HPV are known, of which about 40 are associated with infections in the genital area.
HPV-QUANT-4® Quantitative Real-Time PCR Detection Kit is in vitro diagnostic medical device for specific detection, genotyping and quantitative determination of high risk HPV 16, HPV 18 and low risk HPV 6 and HPV 11 in regard to their oncogenic properties in human biological samples
Samples are human biological materials: epithelial cell swabs, prostate fluid, ejaculate, urine, biopsy material.
